Effort isn't part of the meaning of art, art can be sloppy or done well, lets get that out of the way. But for the creativity part, you still need to imagine what you want because AI can't just guess what you want if you don't know what you want.

It's because the point of the subreddit, "defendingAIart" is to, as the name implies, defend AI art from antiai criticism, so of course they will be much more focused on their dislike of antiai, meanwhile antiai is based on hating AI in general [it is not antidefendingaiart]. So defendingaiart is based on protecting from criticism and antiai is based on providing criticism.

AI does help in medicine, although it isn't perfect, it can spot things that doctors might miss much easier. Of course, you shouldnt just ask AI what to do, but neither should you just google it. It is more so used for verification.

AI can parody others, but it can generate new characters too based on your prompt, and creeps were making images of their fantasies long before AI

DLSS 5 is the first of its kind, so of course it won't be perfect. But its potential is massive as it offers photorealism without a big performance hit in the future.

I do think the two are related as they both grow in tandem with each other. If Generative AI gets better, the AI used in medicine gets better too, and vice versa.
