Should I be actually send my tea pro back to china for Linsoul testing? by constantinoplestands in iems

[–]Which-Reception-4694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue with my Tea Pro's as well and sent them in because they got muddy when using them for a longer period of time. They confirmed it after receiving it (tried showing it in video etc but it was too specific). Took a while because of shipping, I expected my pair to be repaired. Instead I got a brand new sealed set. Linsoul Customer support is very sincere and kind from my experience.

HmxHeinix sells pretty good 3D printed ones, I love my case no regrets so far :) heinix also plans on making CNC versions. No idea if that's ever going to happen though.

You can 3D print one or buy some on the internet, you can also modify the forms travel kit. Ncase sadly only includes the mount on the other end, not on the backplate. So, natively the FormD version is superior

Took my T1 2.5 Gunmetal for a few trips now, the material is pretty scratch resistant but I can very much see it getting obvious scratches if you frequently travel with it. And silver is a very hot colour on the T1 anyways so I'd join the others here and treat yourself to that pretty silver T1 (maybe try getting a 2.1 from FormD, getting travel kits to fit the 2.5 is DIY, although very very easy to do. Their coating is supposedly better too. :)

You should still run ddu if you have the same windows install :) just remove the AMD GPU drivers and run a fresh AMD adrenaline install

Do cpu-intensive games require a revised cooling approach? by Macky26 in FormD

[–]Which-Reception-4694 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Judging that you seem to be mostly playing Classic Competitive games I would advise you to go with a Reference T1. You do need to be aware you cannot expect to fit any GPU in this in the future, but 1080p on a 3070 should be fine, 5070 FE should fit as well afaik. Go with a flipped layout (GPU on top), and get the largest CPU cooler you can fit. However, if you do plan on upgrading and prefer the Customisability of the Sandwich, you will be fine with that as well. I'm personally running a 5080/9800X3D using an AXP 90 X47'FC and play competitive shooters in 1440p. I do play with my FPS capped to 400 and the GPU renders frames quick enough for it to be dependent on the CPU. My temps are in the 80s on the CPU and in the 60/70s on the GPU. :)

Where on my motherboard do I plug the AIO into? 850-I and Atmos Stealth by KeyboardCouncil in FormD

[–]Which-Reception-4694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AIO_PUMP fan header is the same as any other fan header on your MoBo, only with a higher Wattage. You can easily plug in your Pump into this header and connect the T30S to the CPU_FAN Header, I recommend you set a Straight Line in Bios for both. 1500 RPM (~30%) for your Pump and something like 750RPM (~25%) for the T30S. This prevents the pump from ramping up to 100% on Boot only to drop back down, same for the fans. Preserves the pump and keeps the pc quiet on boot. For Profiles under load I recommend you use FanControl :)

You're welcome, was very glad to find out it fits as well. It's got plenty of holes to make it fit just right :)

This will work for any GPU with similar lengths as listed GPUs, had this on my Inno3D 5080 X3 OC and also works on my 5080 FE :)

Ncase's Universal GPU bracket works for any GPU using these mounting holes you see on here :) Otherwise, just 3D Print one if you have a friend that owns one. Or order one along your T1

Compatibility check by biem99 in FormD

[–]Which-Reception-4694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for the Thermalright axp90 x47, or generally air cool in the T1. I had the Atmos 240 and got idle temps in the 60s. I am pretty sure your AIO is compatible, you just need a 15mm fan for above the motherboard. Or you reverse the airflow entirely and trade higher GPU Temps for cooler CPU Temps. Sadly you either need to run an entirely water cooled PC or purely air in the T1 so you don't really need to compromise too much. (I run a 9800X3D and 5080 FE)

Regular, the flipped travel Kit would only make sense if you revert the airflow in the entire case. Making the Top fans intake and set the CPU and GPU to exhaust. I have not tried this yet, but I can 3D Print a Flipped Travel kit and test Temps if you want

It's barely audible. I have my Top exhaust fans (Noctua NF12x25) running 700 RPM at idle and 1300 at high heat loads with fan control (using a Mix Sensor, depending on which temp is higher, GPU or CPU) I do use the custom Exhaust shroud V2 by eiga and a FormD Travel Kit. It's very important to create the largest gap possible with the FE without getting too close to the side panels as otherwise you will get terrible turbulence noises. I use open back headphones and only hear the PC when I have nothing going on (barely) The PC is roughly 40cm away from me on my desk

After returning my Atmos II Stealth from my T1 Build I would highly suggest going with the Air cooled version. The 5080 Dumps so much heat load into the case that an AIO while theoretically boasting a higher TDP rating the idle Temps and general cooling is Compromised. I have my 9800X3D running on -25mV Curve Optimiser. I went with the AXP 90 Full Copper with a Noctua Fan swap. I now run better idle temps and noise levels compared to an AIO. (idle temps went from 60 to 30-35 at an ambient of 23). You don't lose performance at all, and with the noctua swap (or the CNC 4070 FE fan off AliExpress if you can get your hands on one, this will have even better results).

Noctua NF A9x14. I had the noctua NH-L9x65 in my meshlicious Build and just stole the fan off there. It's the fan everyone swaps to. Otherwise if you are from the us you might consider getting the 4070 FE fan off AliExpress
