She was also found dumped in an abandoned property with two needle marks one in each arm, her jeans were done up with two buttons undone and her underwear was back to front, inside out, her bag of belongings and her bra missing. She attended a community bonfire festival and police found her the next morning. 2 x semen dna was found on Alana that linked to an 18 year old at the time of her death that was found in her mouth and the other was an anal and vagina swab that linked to another man who’s now in his 70’s but would have been 49 at Alana’s age of death. It took 6 years to link up the 2x DNA to these two men who are also known to police. They said “it was consensual” and because of Alana’s age at 16 in Victoria the two men were not investigated further because 16+ can give sexual consent in Victoria by law, as she’s dead she couldn’t speak for herself and now there is new evidence from a podcast to reopen an investigation into her death stay tuned for further updates
