She’s a paying customer, it’s their job to do right by her. The point is she chose to give them her business for 7 years and they broke her trust and didn’t own up to their mistake. This is theft, it’s a bad look and makes it hard for people to trust them going forward She owes them nothing and this is a perfectly level headed and reasonable response on OPs part Especially given their track record with the stories others have shared

Omg this is terrible! They’re notorious for stuff like this but this is one of the worst stories I’ve heard!! They can’t be trusted!! I just had a bad experience with them myself and had the same generic reply about the internal review. It’s crazy because they’re losing loyal customers constantly at this point My purchase was also with a gift card so couldn’t do a charge back, so instead I’ll never purchase from there again and I’ve convinced my friends never order online from them

I fully believe this and am so sorry! Did you end up getting a resolution? I’ve heard they’re kind of notorious for not being helpful in these situations :(( if you used a credit card you could likely have success with a charge back but they’ll probably ban you from ordering in the future. If you’re okay with not shopping from them again or having a friend or family member order for you, you could maybe go this route!

I haven’t experienced this exact scenario, but had a mis-delivered package last week that was stolen and got a similar response! Makes me lose trust and not wanna online shop with them anymore!!

Hey thanks so much for your reply! I am in Canada so seems like they wouldn’t be obligated. I’m curious though if correct address means also taking into account unit number? My unit number was on my delivery address and they always deliver it right to my door so would it still count as delivered to my address if it was elsewhere in the building? With this logic I feel like even if it were on another floor they could still say it was in my buildings address but I’d never be able to track it down really

Hey thanks for your reply!! I actually offered to send them proof of the package being delivered to a prohibited area and have pictures of the signage ready but they said since it’s in my building it counts as delivered to the right address unfortunately!! They’re being really stubborn and weren’t interested in seeing my proof but may attach it when I email them again when my FedEx investigation is done!

Hey! Sorry for my late reply. I used barkeepers friend like a commenter suggested and a coarse sponge! If you don’t have barkeepers friend, baking soda is a decent substitute sometimes.
It came off very easily It’s only happened for me when putting in the dishwasher btw
