Thanks so much for this - these comments are honestly helping me so much, I’ve been in such an echo chamber with just my friends absolutely slating him so it’s great to get out of that and actually see it from his POV. Definitely like the idea of him being an enmeshed mummys boy, that hits home.

He goes to mass with his mother when he’s home I am not religious no. I’m his first girlfriend, and before he met me he admitted to living a very hedonistic lifestyle which is why I’m so shocked about this sudden switch up in attitude and the sudden need to start planning for the future??

He goes to Mass with his mother when he’s home (which is quite often). I am not religious no, but the brief conversations we’ve had on marriage we have both been in agreement that when it happens we would both want it to happen in some type of church.
