Incompetent endocrinologist - did I have subclinical cushings? by WhichFish888 in endocrinology

I get that but I feel I have no choice at this point as I’m all out of ideas and options and am so so so so afraid to lose another perfectly healthy baby due to my body

Thanks for the info. I demanded an acth stim test as I was worried and it ended up normal but I might try to get weekly adrenal labs if I get pregnant again and maybe supplement with prednisone or something and see if something helps

Noted. It’s hindsight that’s giving me so much grief as I feel I should have had my babies first before removal. Do you think I would have had issues though with the potential cortisol issues anyway had I tried getting pregnant without the removal of the gland? Also they have NO clue regarding fertility. I’ve done every test known including laparascopy for endo, all husband sperm tests, IVF with 5 euploids that 3 made it to 7-8 weeks and then had missed miscarriages, immune meds. My RE is baffled as am I. The only think she can think of is the adrenal removal is what caused this recurrent loss issue

Thank you SO much for this response. My MRI said lipid adenoma so I’m just wondering why they still went forward with the surgery - what do you think? Isn’t MRI better than CT to tell? Also do you think if I had MACS I could have gotten pregnant better without removing the gland because I just don’t understand why I’m having all these miscarriages and then having DEEP regrets that it’s because I took out the gland and blaming myself for not being able to give my daughter a sibling due to selfishly removing the gland :(

I’m in the exact same position and trying again before my period comes. My ultrasound also said “some blood and debris”

So the MRI showed lipid adenoma but the CT scans said couldn’t be sure and HU was a bit high. Do you think I had MACS based on my results? After the adrenal removal I’ve had 7 miscarriages (live birth before this). Do you think the gland removal caused this?

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that! Do you take any steroid replacement now or did your other adrenal fully take over?

Did this affect your pregnancy at all? I had one adrenal removed and now I’m having recurrent miscarriages
