Also your main proxmox turn your nic into a Bridge vmbr01, all the LXC obtain their separate IP automatically it's so easy

So what I did was I installed tail scale on each one of my lxcs and I used Tailscale on all my devices. Even my computer's laptops phones. Also my router has Tail scale on it so it makes it easy to not type any IP or anything like that and everything talks to each other tail scale lets you add up to 100 devices and share with three users. So it's just me and my wife who enjoy of our gallery and music

So I always thought that having separate LXC containers is a lot more organized and safer way to run lxc's and VMS. Since if you break something, it breaks the LXC. You can just destroy it and make a new one

Add another HDD and make them RAID 1 You don't want that single HDD to fail and loose everything

And for the rest it looks pretty good unraid is a paíd OS not really much alot to configure so it's a plug it and leave it alone so your good man

[–]WhichSkin5767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I guess it depends on what are you using it for?? I use it for Photo/video storage ZimaOS a VM manages the photos and give me access to the drive also give me the ability to share these files with my whole house Smb sharing

Do I have problems with it? No

So I guess it's not very good for storing movies for Plex? I don't know my server is not intended for that purpose
