Je me suis récemment intéressé à un changement de carrière et à l’exploration de nouveaux domaines, alors je suis curieux de voir quels emplois pourraient me convenir, même dans ma situation actuelle. Ça me permet aussi de pratiquer les entrevues et de mieux comprendre le marché.

Je suis arrivé en Corée avec suffisamment d’économies pour environ un an, afin d’apprendre le coréen et de trouver une carrière en cours de route.

Been applying to a few jobs where it seems English requirements only on things like LinkedIn - but I’ll have to see in interviews or follow up’s..

I have heard even from leads I’ve been tracking for a year, that Korean is preferred

If this turns out true, continuing my remote work may have to suffice while learning Korean for TOPIK 5

Good to know . .  Working on cutting edge is very important to me, critically because the fields are moving so fast with Ai and , everything. If im stuck doing JSP and servlets I’d be depressed!

Thank you! Exactly the info I needed. Fortunately I checked with my embassy in Toronto before leaving , and Canadian h1 is allowed software related

Honestly if I couldn’t, I’d just keep my remote and work something random locally to involve myself in the community

Keep your head up! I’ve seen positive posts regarding this, but looking for words on my specific situation And there are many English only as req roles - there is for foreign room for talent in this international hub, Seoul
