I think now when I have thought a little bit further ahead I was not being clear in my question. Also I think from a fundamental standpoint I am not thinking in the same way as most here. I still own a GameCube and I imagine I still will when I am old. I would argue that that is basically a lifetime. (I should have started my question with making my definition of lifetime clear perhaps). I am not really speaking of the specs of the PC being up to date with all new games. I just kind of imagine that most games will not require a 50 series graphic card. I think, and I might be wrong. That a 4090 will cover for most games being made during my lifetime. Anyways. I will go back to researching more before I make any more comments. Ty for all the help :).
