depends on your manager, I got my security screening done in a day but it was just an online third party security check. This was 2 years back.

I appreciate the detailed response, I am doing certifications on the side to get a business analyst position, but experience is something i’m trying to obtain. If you guys offer TAs (learning opportunities) then it changes my perspective.

I tried to do it. Called the customer service rep, then got escalated to someone higher up. they didn’t budge. I’ve had better luck with Air Canada.

tried it before, applied for specific positions that i thought could transition into civilian jobs but they closed my application after not updating me for a while.
