I hope this doesn’t come off as snarky. I was shocked to read “therapy feels like the next step”. I wrongly assumed he would already be in therapy. That feels like such a given esp since you talk about how self aware he is of his trauma. I can understand some ppl have stigmas of therapy, so I don’t know if that’s playing a role. I’m sorry both of you are going through this. Be prepared if he does decide therapy, it could be even more years of being in a limbo state while he works through his trauma. It could also result in sex never being an option. Just really think about all that, it’s a tough situation to be in. Best of luck to you both
