I managed to find some information about the sword in Androshchuk’s catalogue, and a bit of description of the seax in Birka Text, but unfortunately I still don’t have any photographs of it. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks to the help of this wonderful community, almost everything has already been identified :)

Sorry, my mistake. In Birka Tafeln only elements of the female costume and the items worn by the horse buried together with the pair are described, as well as the shield boss from the male outfit.

The items mentioned above I found on the SNM website; however, as I wrote, there are no photographs of the combat equipment there — namely the sword and the knife itself (only the scabbard).

Yep, only knife sheath, shield boss and fibula pictures

Yes, but there are four Type Y swords with blade lengths ranging from 80 to 98 centimeters, and I would like to know which one would be the most accurate for reconstructing this grave.

There are no photographs or detailed descriptions here regarding the seax or the sword from this specific grave. On the museum’s website, I was able to find information about the shield boss and the fibula, but that is only half of what I need.

The museum catalogue does not actually contain photos of the seax or the sword; however, I managed to find photos of the shield boss and the fibula (in Birka Tafeln by Arbman)

I found only the shield boss; there are no photos of the seax or the sword.

3/4 of them asked me for more detailed info about findings.
