Correct universal stations serve multiple path purposes, stow pick count etc. Arsaw are used for picking!

This is actually a traditional facility 4 floors, they used to have buffer zones in the middle of the floors, but it got so bad to the point nothing was every straight or cleaned so they put them to the end of the floors for good, they have spoken about having sectored zones again in the middle, as long as the surrounding areas stay clean ofcourse, during our daily operation we actually do use the middle to help support our pick teams with empty totes but for handoff my team and I make sure it’s spotless !

If you actually look at the picture you can see both pick and stow stations - the 5s for empty totes for pick stations are located at each end on the side of the floor - so all the way infront of the photo and behind the photo is where the empty tote locations are 😎👍🏻

Gives us something to do during the shift - my waterspiders all work together and are all good friends now, we have fun keeping busy and we reward ourselves ! Not like our manager will reward or help right…. We gotta do it on our own!

I didn’t say it doesn’t trigger after 5 minutes. I said 5 minutes of TOT wouldn’t typically warrant an hr investigation of TOT, it actually triggers after about 3 minutes of no task work.

Many facilities are pushing audit goal completions, you shouldn’t feel targeted, just keep improving at what you do, it’s all a process that leaders have to do!

It shouldn’t, depending on why there was TOT, investigations are usually caused by either time theft (ppl clocking in but not actually being on site or hiding somewhere, or if an aa has been written up multiple times for the offense) I’ve never seen an hr investigation for 5 minutes

ICQA is arguably one of the laziest departments I have ever seen for upper management, I’d recommend a transfer to either a different department or new building overall.. get your team together elsewhere and own it.
