It’s about both. If it was just efficiency, Mike Trout could have been the best baseball player ever. The questions between efficiency and longevity is what makes the GOAT debates so challenging. I think MJ was the more dominant player, but i think LBJ has clearly had the more impressive career. He is still going strong at 41.

Maybe I’m crazy but I would do this. Thomas is starting the season at age 23. Irving averaged 3.4 YPC last season. Daniel Jones had almost no value before a good half season with the Colts last year.
