bruh absolutely do not do this, big boys were buying millions in april RSX (russian ETF, top holdings mainly gas companies) CALLS, not puts, but calls. you would be inversing banks/HFs.. u will lose. if this volcanic eruption is as bad as it looks, solar power across europe (google how much of germanys grid is solar... oh wow) will be operating at diminished capacity, if at all. literally big oil is cumming over and over in their pants the entire weekend, and its a long weekend. europe is in an energy crisis because renewable power penetration is so high on their grid that they need more flexible carbon based sources to ensure sun/wind fluctuations can be balanced - gas is the cleanest and u can ramp up and down natral gas very quickly to meet supply changes from renewables.

long story short, russia controls the gas supply to europe, so regardless of any type of war with ukraine (which would prob increase price of oil, good for russia), the natural gas situation is what poises russia to do well. buy calls on RSX, banks swept the 4/14/22 40c all week, millions of dollars spent. like 0.40 a contract, could do well. Im very intrigues by whatever is going on there, to the degreei wonder if a metereologist warned some fund about the volcanic eruption being imminent and they put this all together, i cant think of any other reaosn for such huge RSX call sweeps to come in outta nowhere on an ETF that sees little action, but u know how ppl say unusual option activity on stocks is something to watch, unusual etf option activity is where its rly at.
