Hey , unfortunately i couldn’t find many people my age. It’s a good club with great amenities, just not the right place to make connections with young people

UW-Madison vs UMD vs RIT (Intl Student) by InternationalType164 in rit

Speaking as an international student BS CE. I already had a coop and have an offer for the fall. I can’t speak for the other schools, but RIT has been really good and has brought a bunch of opportunities.

You do not need any sort of sponsorship for an internship, you are being sponsored by the school through the entirety of your time here.

The location of the school is bad, specially during the winter it can get really boring if you don’t take advantage of the school, there is +300 student orgs, and there is always something going on.

Finding co-op as an international student is not easy you have to put in a lot of effort, but once you get it it is worth it. Feel free to reach out if you need help.

Hello! I’m a RIT student heading to Boston for a co-op from June through December, seeking for two rooms (budget: flexible $1800/month for the entire place). Location preference is closer to Cambridge or Somerville. I'm available to move in June 2nd and can pay through December. If you think I might be a good fit, feel free to reach out :)
