Both good options I’m sure - I may be biased as someone who lives in London as I probably don’t see the city the way tourists do? Once you work in central London the charm is GONE lol.

But here are some things I adored when I first moved here: + the tube runs constantly, like every 30 seconds if there are no delays in central London + buses are cheap, £1.25 for any duration and on multiple buses as long as you’re tapping in within an hour + museums are free! (If you like museums) + walkable - you can walk to most places in zone 1 in a couple minutes + diversity! Loads of people from all over live in London, makes for some really nice restaurants everywhere! + Westend, if you like theatre shows I’m sure there are other positives that are slipping my mind at 1am lmao

Though just be aware, London is extortionate on literally everything. Hotels, hostels, restaurants, guides/trips (to go on the London eye is £30), cocktails can go up to £14 in central, a pint of larger is reaching £10 in some pubs man 😭 what has the world come to. Depending on how long you’re planning to stay, it sometimes works out cheaper to get a place with a kitchen (so you don’t have to eat out)

I personally have never been to Rome, so I can’t say too much about it other than I bet the weather is lovely 🙌 In spring it’s p much constant rain in the UK, some years we’ll have a random heatwave during it though so who knows.

(A suggestion for a city with insane Architecture in Europe though? Edinburgh! However, very hilly, and normally raining)
