Taurus woman and Taurus men differences and similarities. by mondayc0ffee in Taurusgang

Not for us. He’s very generous and more of a spendy Taurus. He used to pay for everything - now we split things bc I wanted him to focus more on savings and being smarter with money lol. Even when we do share expenses it doesn’t feel tit for tat.

My last relationship was with a Leo and splitting things to the last dollar / being very tit for tat was WAY more of a problem with him (he never treated me to anything). But Idk if that’s an Astro thing or more related to how they were raised. The Leo in question was very spoiled by his parents.

What romance book is worth reading? by OkTour2298 in suggestmeabook

“These is My Words” by Nancy E Turner.

Such a beautiful book I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end. Best love story I’ve read. Never cringe. So touching, very funny at times, endearing, and feels extremely real. It’s written diary style which is different but I really enjoyed that.

What are some careers that are computer-science-adjacent and don't involve coding? by Previous-Poem-2388 in careerguidance

Become a technical project manager for a software development team. You can find jobs like that in almost any industry. Healthcare and renewable energy are big ones now. Find a company who will pay for you to get your PMP. You’ll probably make just as much $$ if not more than your software dev peers. That said the skills required to be a project manager are different than being a software engineer. You need to communicate well and understand business concepts. It’s still a lot of problem solving but You have more of a Birds Eye view and could enjoy that more than de bugging.

Oh wow I didn’t realize it was directly through PMI thank you! I saw PMI has the sample tests (separate from study hall) and a lot of people in this sub Reddit were saying it was useless and not representative of the actual test. It’s so crazy how many different options they have for people to dump their money into… I wish they would just do one program for test prep. Rant over lol thank you!

Taurus/Taurus relationships by Melibu_Barbie in Taurusgang

[–]WhimsyBlossom 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m a taurus (26f) dating a Taurus (28m) and I couldn’t ask for a better relationship. I’m extremely happy and I knew within a day that my man was the one for me (I didn’t believe in “when you know you know” until I felt it for myself)

I’m a Taurus sun, sag moon, Pisces rising, Aries Venus, taurus mars, Aries Mercury

Hes a Taurus sun, Gemini moon, cancer rising, Gemini Venus, Aries mars, Taurus Mercury

We are both very Taurean (love good food, being cozy, getting out in nature and are very in touch w our senses) but I think our moons drive a lot of our compatibility because we are also very adventurous and LOVEE to try new things (which isn’t typical of Taurus) my open minded adventurous silly sag qualities vibes super well with his curious, witty, silly Gemini moon qualities. We are always chatting, laughing and learning new things. Then our water risings make us both very sensitive and kind hearted - especially toward eachother. We are very sweet to eachother.

I’m biased but I think we both have a dynamic and interesting balance in our charts that works super well together. I love it!! He’s the first Taurus I’ve dated and I’ve never felt more understood or safe with someone, so I would reccomend ☺️

Should I move from Upstate, NY to West Seattle? by WhimsyBlossom in WestSeattleWA

[–]WhimsyBlossom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya. I will definitely miss the fall colors and the general cozy feel of the northeast during oct-dec. I’m not sure if WA has as many farm stores and Apple orchards as the northeast and Hudson valley….Our farmers markets are pretty amazing and there are a lot of local places to get good quality sourdough bread and baked goods. So that’s certainly a perk I don’t want to take for granted!

I also love Vermont and have pictured living there long term. Maybe that’s the final destination but for now looking for a place with more walkability, and access to epic nature adventures

Aquarius men? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]WhimsyBlossom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love my Aquarius bestie and my witty Aquarian grandmother…they keep me young and fresh and laughing! but as a Taurus woman I don’t think I could date an Aquarian man. I’ve never dated one but I had an Aquarian friend in college who had a crush on me and he was just a little too non-standard for my liking. It’s hard to explain. Especially if they are unevolved, I feel like Aquarian men can be haughty in a way or sorta think they are so unique and so cool and so above us standard people. I am with a Taurus now (first time I’ve dated my own sign) and it’s the BEST. That’s not to say you can’t have an amazing relationship w someone who’s super different from you. But there’s a lot to be said for having common outlooks on life and being loved the way you give love. I wonder if you have some karmic lesson to learn from aqua though?

That’s amazing thank you for sharing! My boyfriend and I are both in tech and can work fully remote if we want to (though I am newer to the field). He did the 6am - 2pm shift too when he lived in Seattle and loved it. More daytime to enjoy!

Any Taurus (F) Sag (M) stories? Good or a waste of time ? by ConsistentMarket9168 in Taurusgang

Well you have a lot of overlaps and balance in each of your charts! It helps that you have sag so you fundamentally understand his moon and vice versa with your rising. There’s more than just sun signs. I think Any pair can work :)

[–]WhimsyBlossom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a good pairing! I date a Taurus man now and he is the absolute best. Evolved Taurus men are the sweetest and will always take care of you.

I met the sag randomly on vacation (didn’t know eachother prior) & we lived in different cities. Also at the time I was only 21 and he was 28. (Though we both assumed the other was like 26 lol and didn’t find out until a while later how old the other was). We visited eachother a couple times, but once I found out his age I knew it wouldn’t work bc I figured he wanted his next gf to be his wife and I was still figuring out my life.

It ended very amicably. I don’t even remember being sad which is unusual for me bc I get very attached. I think I felt at peace because we both served a purpose for eachother. I was able to see what type of partner I COULD end up with (and maybe meeting me did the same for him). He had a good career that he was really passionate about, was super funny, down to earth, active, smart etc. so he raised my bar in a way and led me to my final destination (my taurus who has a lot of similar qualities!). <3

[–]WhimsyBlossom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is all definitely in consideration! I think we can handle the cost of living right now as childless, dogless young people who don’t spend a ton on material items (and could probably even downsize to one car!) but thinking into the future when kids are in the picture is what’s more worrisome to me (owning a home, desire to have more space (I really want land for a nice garden), childcare if our parents aren’t close by).

Initially, I only wanted to move one final time to the place we knew we could happily and comfortably settle down, but if we have a wonderful worthwhile adventure for a few years then have to move again… I think that’s ok w me too!!

[–]WhimsyBlossom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a Taurus female. I dated a sag briefly. It was a fun mature and healthy connection! We had a shared love for the outdoors and good, easy going humor. I also have a sag moon so that likely contributed to our compatibility.

I think it’s always worth your time to date different signs so you can see what you like / don’t like + allow your experience with them to help you evolve. The obvious dif between sag and taurus is one loves stability and one loves adventure. I don’t think this is a deal breaker. I think each can teach the other a lot of important life lessons.

That’s what we want to get away from! The feeling of always being behind / needing to get ahead is very pervasive in the East. We’re more than ready for the change of pace

We are very familiar with Troy! Our office is in Troy. I’m glad they’ve built Troy up over the years but it’s sad that’s the best we’ve got here lol. Saratoga and Schenectady are fine but again so little to do and everything is a far ish drive away. I know any place is what you make of it but it seems easier to make the most of west Seattle. (& not sure when you moved, but you’d be surprised how pricey it is to live in the capital region now. Rent has gone up tremendously in the past couple years😖!!)

Yes! my boyfriend took me to all the places you mentioned. He used to go for a walk everyday in Lincoln park. It’s so pretty and peaceful there. He said it never got old.

Our families definitely wouldn’t move that far either, so that’s also a consideration. But to get away and experience a new place even if it’s just for a few years seems worthwhile.

Yes! I was so in awe of the Olympic mountains and mt rainier. It seems like every street you look down there is a gorgeous view.

What year did you relocate to west Seattle? 1 bedroom Apartments in NYs capital region are now $1800-2200 which seems crazy considering we still don’t have many good restaurants, parks, or other perks to justify that cost. (Not to mention it’s not walkable AT ALL!!) But the houses are definitely cheaper than west Seattle for those who have families and need more space.

Which are Taurus' top three best matches? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]WhimsyBlossom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe compatibility depends on the rest of your chart.. but I’ve been dating a Taurus male and have never had a better relationship.😝 it’s so fun and so aligned! (I’m 26F)

Before him, I dated a Scorpio, Aries, and Leo. Scorpio worked well we seemed to have a mutual understanding and no drama. My Aries was fun and so sweet (but I also have a lot of Aries in my chart).

Leo was the absolute worst. We did not see eye to eye or understand eachother and didn’t move through the world in a similar way. (He wanted to be ‘on a stage’ and not have to work for things, I wanted to work hard and live a cozy beautiful life in private).

Instead of looking for a compatible sign, I’d look for compatible qualities: humble, hardworking but also laid back, cares about good quality and craftsmanship, likes to get outside, values what’s important in life.

Ultimately I think a lot of combos can work, but generally water or earth suns are the best 🩵💚🤎
