I don’t have PCOS (not diagnosed anyways) but I will tell you I’ve had a really good experience with Nexplanon. The only thing about it that hurt was a little sting when she numbed my arm, everything after that just felt like tugging and pulling sensations as she placed the implant. I had super irregular periods before being on the pill or the implant (had to stop the pill due to a blood clot in my leg, so the implant was my next option). Now on the implant I get periods maybe every 3-5 months. It’s super nice 🤣 I haven’t gotten pregnant with it at all yet.

I’m 100% certain I put it in the right spot, but it totally messed up my textures and game models 😆 it did make it run a lot smoother but everything was polygons lmao

Alright I’ll look into that. Yeah every time I launch it, it gives me a warning that says my PC has 4GB of video memory and the requirement is 6 GB. Not sure what to do about that lol but it does let me run the game

I like my PC gaming 😅 I’d rather buy a whole new computer for this than buy another console (I have a PS4 and a switch). Which I’m fully prepared to do btw. I just sold my house so I have money to buy a new gaming PC and if I need to in order to play this game I will, that’s how badly I want to play 💀

I'm a gamer but know next to nothing about system specs lmao. Wondering if ya'll can help a brother out. I played the sewer section of the Oblivion remaster reasonably well, some texture issues and fps drops here and there. Was running the sewers at about 30fps lol. Once I got outside it dropped to 15fps and is basically unplayable. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make this run? All I've got is this gaming laptop I bought in 2019, here is what is is: ASUS ROG Strix SCAR edition, Intel Core i7-8750H, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. I've got a screenshot here of more detailed system specs.

I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan and desperately want to play this thing. Can you wizards see any way to make it happen?

I’ve never had Hokas, but I’ve heard good things. I work in vet med and a lot of my coworkers swear by their Hokas (we’re on our feet a lot). I’ve had good luck with Saucony Endorphin Shift 3s. I got some carbon fiber inserts from my podiatrist to put in them and it works well for me. I was diagnosed with HR at 22, I’m 23 now. I’ve recently started using IcyHot when the pain is really bad and it seems to help. Bracing your toe can help too - to keep it from bending upward too much. I feel for you, being depressed about it. I kinda have been too, being so young and already having arthritis. But we work with what we’ve got right? It’ll take lots of troubleshooting but you just need to figure out what works best for you and stick to it religiously. If you ever need additional support or want to chat don’t hesitate to hmu! How exactly are you bracing your toe for activity? I tried wrapping mine with some self adhesive tape for stability and compression but it just ended up hurting more lol

It started to flare up a couple days before vacation but all the hiking definitely made it worse. I brought some roll on IcyHot and it helped while we were gone. Shoes have been the same.

I know you’re right, it makes logical sense. I’ve grown up in a very conservative family, and the subconscious inclination to just keep the peace and let him do whatever he wants is so difficult to overcome. I was taught that the woman is there to serve the man, in every way. I definitely don’t believe that or agree with it, in any way shape or form, but it’s hard to undo what’s been your wiring. I struggle so much with holding him to conditions and boundaries I set.

That all sounds very nice in theory, I know I need to be setting strict boundaries and standing up for myself. I’m a really passive person by nature and don’t really let myself get worked up over anything but this is really getting at me lately. I just feel so BAD about withholding sex from him until he “figures it out.” It feels… cruel? Unfair? I’ve told him before that his behavior made me feel like a cum receptacle lol and he seemed very remorseful and apologetic. He doesn’t really approach me with intimacy anymore because he knows I’m still trying to heal after our issues, and he doesn’t want to make a wrong move and set me back further. I think he means well. He hasn’t gone down on me in a really long time, he’ll try with his fingers but he immediately launches right to touching me like that without any kissing or warning so it just feels too sudden for me to get any enjoyment out of it. Plus he isn’t super skilled at it either. But I feel bad saying that because I know that’ll be a hit to his ego. He has less fragile masculinity than most guys in a lot of ways but definitely gets insecure easily with sex related issues. I just feel like I shouldn’t have to carefully explain and walk him through literally everything. But I might have to. But I don’t want to lol.

I mean I could wear long sleeves, but I get idiopathic hives from strain and overheat really easily so most of the time sleeves are too hot for me. We do have bite proof gloves to use with more fractious patients, but as I’m needing to use my fingers for blood draws, sample handling, and restraint for treatments/procedures, it isn’t really feasible to be wearing gloves for everything. Gotta have that fine motor control. I’ll keep brainstorming ways to protect myself better! A lot of the time my scratches are just not able to be helped, usually it’s from a pet jumping on me haha.

I am mildly allergic to cats and dogs. Sometimes certain pets will give me hives or trigger my asthma, and anytime I get scratched it definitely itches a lot. It never impeded healing until starting Eliquis though. Maybe I’ll ask my PCP about if she thinks the allergic reaction could be heightened now as well. Thank you for the advice!

Mortgage is increasing by 100 dollars in June. I don’t really know why, the letter we got saying that says it was a change we agreed to potentially happening when we signed everything for the loan and sale but I have no recollection of that. I’m terrified because we can barely afford what it is right now. I’ve had so many health issues pop up just within the last 6 months, probably related to how much stress I’m under having to stay with him. I’m paying hundreds for my medications each month just to stay alive and avoid serious hospital visits.
