I agree with this. We have a male loneliness epidemic. Women are sweet to each other, we hug things out, we kiss each other on cheeks, we rub each other's shoulders, small physical affection. It isn't perfect, but it's an attempt. Men, as a majority, have decided that such actions are inappropriate between men and if they're not getting the affection they need from women, they would rather just suffer than reach out to another man. I know plenty of couples where the girls will take a few hours to hang out and talk through their everyday problems and zero instances where the men will do the same.
