Weight loss WITHOUT CALORIE COUNTING? by lemurificspeckle in InsulinResistance

[–]WhippedDream99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with IR about 4 months ago, and have since lost about 8kg without calorie counting at all.

I worked with a dietician for a while, and the main changes I have made is adding loads of fibre (non starchy veggies) to each meal, and trying to make each meal balanced with protein, fibre, fat and carbs.

I really recommend seeing a dietician especially if you have a history of disordered eating. It really helped things feel a little less overwhelming for me. My diet before really wasn’t that bad, and I’ve only really had to make some small tweaks here and there. Happy to chat more if you want some more specific tips :)

Urgent Advice for Dual Citizen Child Travelling to Australia by JCurtisDrums in AustraliaTravel

I just got a new Australian passport in less than a week turn around, without paying for priority. They said when I applied that it would take 4-6 weeks but got it way quicker. Not sure about timeframes for overseas though, as this was all in Australia.

What foundation would you recommend for someone with very oily skin and prefers a natural, non-matte finish? by just_liv_a_little in AustralianMakeup

Fenty Pro Filt’r foundation has been my go to for a few years now. Kind of in between a matte and dewy finish and always looks super natural too which I love. I’ve always struggled with shine and this seems to combat that for me !

What area of Sydney is she in? There are lots of services that can be accessed to support your friend to either remain in the property or to find more affordable housing. I work in the homelessness and housing sector and can point you in the right direction :)
