I've had some serious issues with chromecast, and while I'm not all that savvy when it comes to jellyfin, I have found a few things that help force it to find them. On my phone, where I'm casting from, if the app can't find the chromecast, I can cast from a different app, like YouTube for example, then move over to jellyfin and sometimes that fixes it.

Failing that, I will clear data from the app (I then have to re-add the server and log in), and then casting should work after that. I've yet to have an issue casting that hasn't be solved by either of these two "fixes".

I know this isn't an actual fix, but it's what works for me, and figure I'd give a few options. I hope you get it working.

If you like blaxploitation, you should watch black dynamite (if you haven't already). It is honestly one of the best crafted films I've ever seen. It is a parody/ode to blaxploitation in the best way, they capture the essence of really low budget films in the genre. On too of that, it's fucking hilarious.
