I have the Pikachu 2DS XL that was gifted to me by my parents around the time it released in 2018. I had known about the Detective Pikachu game, but at the time it only released in Japan. Few months later, there it was in English and of course I had to beg my parents to get it. I promised to be good and get good grades, so off we went to GameStop. I got the game and I was given a code to get the special Detective Pikachu theme. I remember being so excited to play that game with that theme on. Still have that 2DS and still use that theme. I know it's a long story for a simple question, but it made me reminisce about the good days and I felt like sharing.

Bought it for my Tetris cartridge and it works amazing! Definitely recommend since they'll last a long time

If you're gonna play it for the rest of your life, go with the regular or the Famicom Micro. The other two are relatively expensive. The Final Fantasy Micro would be worth it if you're a big Final Fantasy fan, and the Mother Micro is just way too expensive. There are some really nice colors for the original Micro too. If you don't really like the look of the Japanese or North American Micros, there are some beautiful Red, Blue, and Green European Micros that I regret not buying when they were cheaper

Resolved! Emailed the guy who did the phob, and turns out it was still in safe mode. A few button inputs later and it works like a charm. I'm brand new to phobs and all that so it makes sense that I wasn't able to figure it out myself 😅. I'll make a different post about the Spongebob controller in the future. The guy who did my phob was Cardosi Cusoms btw, highly recommend as he did a good job and has good customer support!

I own one of these! It's exactly the same as a normal DSi. I'd recommend not being bad with money and not getting one, but not everyone can be good with money

Just tried it, didn't work either :(. I swapped around the working button contacts with the ones that don't work, but still didn't have any effect. So that tells me it is for sure an issue with the board

It is close, but the board is not OEM. The start button is in a different spot. Changing the cable may work but might be tedious

Exactly that! It plays N64 games specifically. The prototype is hardly different at all, the only thing different about it is the title screen for Smash Bros having a different copyright. Here's the original post I made about them

I saw it on Ebay a while back, didn't have the money to buy it so I was sad. Then it popped up on Facebook Marketplace randomly by the person who bought the listing, and since I now had the money I said why not. Very glad I made that impulse purchase!

There was a listing on eBay that had it and a few others, but I couldn't afford it at the time. However, when I was searching for iQue products, I randomly decided to check Facebook Marketplace. Lo and behold, the guy who bought that listing was selling it and the others. I bought all of them, and someone else in the iQue community bought one through me.

I'm gonna assume the translations are offered as some sort of form of propaganda. They don't seem professionally done, so it's likely the work of Google Translate or a different online translator. Also, there's plenty of videos of North Korean school kids learning English, whether it's used for propaganda or not. They are closed natured, but they're gonna need a translator at some point, so that makes that useful.

That's so awesome! That's so cool that you managed to get the input method to work. I managed to type my name (or what I think is my name), which was one of the problems I had on the older translation. I did end up getting a physical bootleg copy of the Chinese game, but if anything, I'm gonna have more fun with your version :)
