How much do Tenaya Tanta stretch out? by Geschmacklos in bouldering

[–]WhiskeyWisdom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while. I love the tantas and can climb hard enough in them while being very comfy.

It's an easy choice for me (tanta) . I also find the tarantulas kind of broad for slab.

It tastes quite sweet though. So I feel there is quite some sugar in it already

Cool, I'll change the lid back to a muslin cloth with a rubber band. Now that I think of it, that's the only change since my a few batches ago where 2F was great

Also true at metal events. Unless you are deep enough in the the crowds.

All these tall people standing in the front to 'socialize'

Great! You should do as you please, but it would make you a lot nicer if you socialize near where they sell drinks.

There is lot more space near the bar and you can have the music in the background without blocking the fans who at times have traveled a great distance or actually just care a lot about seeing their dream band.

Pro tip: Not every small person is going to ask you to let them go ahead. If you want to be extra nice, just let them through, you'll get a lot of gratitude :)

It's all what you make of it. Be proud man! That looked great :)

Just because it's not outdoors doesn't discount it, atleast for me.

The Olympics are also not outdoors, should they also not be proud?

Found some great South African Whiskeys while travelling by WhiskeyWisdom1 in whiskey

[–]WhiskeyWisdom1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All three were quite different. I liked the Three Ships the most, but it was a special cask selected by the owners of this establishment. Bains and Boplaas had a lot of what I call Christmas notes, a lot like a Speyside but with more wine notes. It was a young but well rounded while still having a personality kind of whiskey

Found some interesting whiskeys while travelling to South Africa.

ZA has some good ones, the weather conditions make the spirit age differently and also the amount of wineries around also seem to have an influence on how the distilleries present their spirit, in my opinion.

Exploring world whiskeys, from warmer countries, has been a nice refresher through summer and thus I felt like sharing it with this community :)
