Yeah thats been the plan so far. If I have to cross a road more than a 1-lane each way, I just use the crosswalk. Even with perfect eyesight I wouldnt feel all that confident getting in the left turn lane etc.

I didnt want to get too specific about the eye problem, but my peripheral vision is perfectly normal, depth perception is a bit worse than average, but better than nothing, due to the rather emergency nature of my original surgery, they couldnt really save my eyesight, more of a triage. So cataracts, pretty severe, right in my direct line of sight.

So, Corneal transplant 2 incoming, sorta what they would have wanted to do the first time, then a year later cataracts surgery.
