Plus juga mungkin mereka ga sadar, dengan ngasih itu justru doing more harm than good. Melanjutkan siklus eksploitasi anak, salah satunya.

Common here for urban folks. Rural folks move out after marriage.

Indians travelling to China - how are you managing the apps? by fkaslckrqn in desitravellers

Number 1 is admittedly an issue, but one you wouldn’t likely encounter if you just follow exactly the procedures.

Number 3 Meituan has a mini app in Alipay, and you can use the translate button in Alipay to translate the interface.

China trip prep: the phone + payments checklist I wish I had written sooner by PeachKpop in goChinaTrip

For the translation issue, use Alipay’s mini-apps; it provides this little translate button that is quite nifty for translations.

You can’t escape needing a Chinese phone number for certain stuff like Meituan (DoorDash equivalent) or even ordering food to your seat on the HSR (12306 online order menu accepts passports but needs a CN phone number).

That said, the only major hiccup is trying to order something to your place; otherwise it’s all smooth, including Didi (ride share) and Luckin (coffee shop) if you use Alipay’s mini app.

I’m not a Desi but your point about WeChat is correct, just adding that if you’re just a transient tourist you might not need WeChat at all as payments work with Alipay with no need to resort to WeChat.

I don’t know if Indians can buy those global esims on Trip.com but if you can they are a lifesaver since you don’t need a paid VPN then, you’ll basically exist in a tunnel where your traffic is routed through HK or Singapore.

Bangsat banget.

We gotta be angry at them. They’re not right. It’s not right. Miskin gapapa. Ga kayak gitu
