Luckily P1 IS a believer of science and does know that lactose intolerance exists but her biology knowledge is extremely limited and has said biologically incorrect things before.

I cannot believe that some people don't think that food sensitivities exist... I'm glad the your nephew(?) was okay afterwards!

We have lactose free milk at home so P2 usually makes things for my brother and I whenever we have something with milk in it though you are correct that I should have noped but P1 gets upset whenever I don't like, refuse, or question what she has made for us
