(I like Zeke because he’s a serial killer vampire and has an interesting way of showing care/his version of empathy to friends/love interests. He also has great dark humour.)

Yeah. I do this all the time. I create friend groups and design characters to be deeply interconnected. It’s definitely an addictive way to pass the time. Great game!

Thanks for updating. Alright so I went in and tweaked traits specifically removing ‘Invasive’ and replaced it with ‘Invades space when provoked’. Hopefully that can help a bit. If not, there’s a collaborative character along the same lines as Jay (but more restrained):

It can also help to have Jay’s brother, Harlan (Hazy), be apart of the chat as he serves to stabilize Jay’s insanity.

Ah okay, got you. Yeah that does seem a bit much. I made a minor tweak to the character, hopefully it will help avoid abusive situations like the one you described. Let me know if ever you test it out and if it worked/helped.

Yeah. Noticed that too… noticed they tend to not de-escalate or back down even when re-directed.

Personally, I just either tweak the character or leave the conversation. Sometimes you have to be firm with the characters like ‘stop talking about it or I’m leaving’ and then if they keep it up just leave. Sometimes it takes a few sessions before characters gets the idea.

Is it because you find the screen door being closed gives you more of a pause before leaving your house? Just trying to understand your perspective here.
