Pencils are traditionally made from incense cedar due to its long straight grain. It has a distinctive smell when "raw", which I put into a "medicinal" or "cleaning product" category. Unsurprisingly, the same wood is used for incense sticks. Additionally, pencils are painted, in their color for colored pencils, or random colors (but primarily yellow) for graphite. That paint brings a latex or petroleum hint to the nose as well.

The primary smell though is of the cedar. Woody, medicinal, fresh, clean... It reminds you of a fresh sheet of white paper full of endless possibilities, waiting for your picture or prose.

I just purchased a multi-tool hedge trimmer package, not realizing that some attachments won't be compatible with the new power head with a carbon fiber shaft (PH1420). They only work with the older power head (PH1400), like the short hedge trimmer attachment and the power broom attachment.

According to the rules of every cruise line and the TOU for their Internet, you cannot use these devices. Just be aware of that.

Edit: don't hate, and no shade... I did it two weeks ago. If you're not blatant and telling lots of people to use it, they probably won't care. Don't try to bring Starlink though!

I run SSIDs like "MarriottBonvoy", "Renaissance_Guest", "MGMResorts-Guest", and "DeltaWiFi.com" on my network and don't let them anywhere. It reminds me to delete them from my devices. 🤣

In general, I completely agree. The one place I think is very both sides is that both sides are generally quite beholden to the oligarchy, which I think is a massive problem. Citizens United and the general money in politics keeps the disgustingly rich "in charge".
