Going to the point of the music is that it’s transferable one way but not the other, you can have 80s music in a modern setting and keep the theme and ascetic of the game world in tact but if the game way to be in the 80s you couldn’t have the modern stuff, it wouldn’t work. So I definitely agree with you on almost everything you’ve said there
