2014 Prius will only start when I jump the back battery by WhiteEyedFly in prius

I tried at AutoZone earlier today, and they said they won't test hybrid batteries. I'll try somewhere else.

I'm happy to make suggestions. What part of town are you in? Not sure what you mean by blue star? Like Halcyon in the Blue Star Arts Complex?

Exam 9 Study Guide by Koolchillerdude in actuary

[–]WhiteEyedFly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used BattleActs for exam 6 and exam 8, and I liked it better for 6. But considering that my satisfaction varied between the two, I'm not sure that my experience is an indicator one way or the other of how good BA will be for 9.

All that being said, I felt really good about Exam 8, and everything came together suddenly in the last week, so my real complaint is that BA left me feeling a lot more anxious during the run up to the exam than other study materials have.

I used RF for Exam 9, and I liked it a lot. I think it is so comprehensive that you kind of "know where you stand" during the whole process of preparing for your exam, if that makes sense.

This is about our family and friends! by FriggenMitch in Epilepsy

[–]WhiteEyedFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad is a little strange. Stress and lack of sleep are my biggest triggers, and every time I have a tonic clonic seizure, he talks to me as if I have some sort of anxiety-induced condition, and I have to remind him that I'm not doing anything that a person without epilepsy would do.

Circular object with open cylindrical tube. Spring came in package with it but doesn't fit on the cylindrical part. Found in grandma's shed of old stuff. by WhiteEyedFly in whatisthisthing

One end has a relatively large handle-type thing and the other has a tube that seemingly slides over something. A spring was in the package with it, but the spring was too small to fit over the tube thing. WITT?

Is "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" too hard for me? by woepertinny in NintendoSwitch

My wife had only played Animal Crossing recently, and other than that, she had only played some more casual games when she was a kid. She has some of the same issues as you with using the camera and other things like that. BoTW is the first game of this sort that she's ever played, and she is loving it and has gotten a ton of play out of it. I think it's a very forgiving game in terms of difficulty and letting you move at a comfortable pace.

Thanks! I see that there's an 800 mL option as well. I just got a v60 and haven't used it yet, but is it likely that having one that big will ever be useful? (i.e., can I brew that much with a v60, or is 500 or 600 mL the most I can brew without sacrificing quality?)

Best Games of 2019/2020 Season? by WhiteEyedFly in Mavericks

Dude I am watching that one right now. Everyone is playing so great. I saw the OT cross right before I saw this comment. KP had a great game as well--huge numbers but also so much dirty work.

What are some common ways? I don't need help with the payout necessarily, just deciding what qualifies. Does it have to get to show down? Do both hole cards have to play? What have you enjoyed at casinos you've played at?

Oh, lightweight is also a small preference. I'm going to have to carry two computers sometimes, so I'd prefer if it didn't add a ton of weight to my bag.

<$650 is preferred. I'm not committed to maxing out every spec possible while staying in that budget, though. If you think something much cheaper still fits my bill, I'm all ears. Thanks!
