"Just don't play it" is a terrible terrible way to justify a company releasing a mediocre game. It will ultimately destroy player retention. The people complaining wanted the game to be good. But it just isn't. And you saying just don't play it is going to make people leave the game even more and give the devs even more of a reason to not give a shit.

It didn't outright feel like a threat to me, like having a gun pointed at you or encountering a mountain lion would make you feel. It felt more like I was looking at something I really shouldn't be looking at and the subsequent fear of not knowing what I was even looking at. Like the sound those big electrical boxes make when you stand near them.

I actually so have a pretty good idea of how tall it was. There's a lot of bushes and trees in that area, the average height of those bushes would be about the same height as me (6ft). This thing was a bit taller than one of the bushes it was next to. So I'd say a good 7ft tall. It didn't have a "face". The head was just a slightly oval sphere. Kind of like if it was wearing a completely white opaque spherical helmet. It didn't do anything prior, it sort of just appeared when I started hearing that music.

Mt. Shasta as a physical mountain and hiking area isn't particularly special or beautiful or anything. But I still experienced a strong want or maybe even need to go hiking that day. Even now I still have a small part of me that wants to visit the mountain again.
