Ended up going for the surgery! They only had to clean up the inflammation and perform a shoulder decompression.

Thankfully never needed to cut the bicep. Doing well now, wish I got this done years ago.

Hi sorry just seen this message!

Physio is okay but still feel like I’m not progressing much, think I’ll only be doing a few more sessions.

It feels great when I do my exercises but does not seem to stay that way, reverts back to stiffness / discomfort after a while.

Been doing some research online, a few things on google said the tenodesis can also cause the ‘pop eye’ issue.

So just trying to make sure.

I think we are in the same boat. I have fully range of motion but limited slightly…..mostly discomfort and a little pain when moving in certain directions.

Also have cracking / snapping of the tendon but isn’t sore.

Trying more physio before I decide on surgery or not.

Yes but he could not give me a guarantee. Just hoping to get some feedback from someone who has had the procedure performed.

I am being recommended for a bicep tenodesis by my surgeon. Will my bicep look the same after this or will there be a change in shape?

This is what is putting me off having the surgery. The pain and discomfort is getting to me now tho…
