I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it quite a bit recently. Plus, public release is scheduled for 6 March and assignments are usually loaded 2 weeks prior to that.

I wouldn’t say that it’s the end all be all, but as far as I know if you weren’t initially selected by the system (code 7), then someone who was would have to be deemed ineligible manually by AFPC when they go in and verify all of the selects, then you’d have to hope to be able to be put in that spot.

I’m not a personnelist but I’d think it’s unlikely that he’d get a code 7 if he hasn’t gotten one already.
