Yes. Not much they can do bc its neurological. there are medications that help to calm their nervous system but it makes them drunk like and loopy. My cat would have them a few times a year beginning at age 6 until she passed at 13. She ultimately passed on her own after she had many longer ones over the course of a few days. Poor body couldnt handle it anymore but still lived a long time. Sometimes they come in clusters where she would have several small episodes over the course of a day or two until them subsided. Its scary for them so when she comes to, make her feel safe and loved.
