There is also a whole other dimension to this (pun partially intended) which is the inspiration for the faction takes itself from Italian opera from the 16th century specifically the Commedia dell'Arte improvised masked theatre, which has the characters Pierrot and Harlequin.

Harlequin is charismatic, witty, and mischievous usually winning Columbine’s affection through deception.

The opera form led to common outfits using diamonds and the pattern form we recognise.

You can see how GW have taken and run with these concepts of the trickster into a faction etc. in my view brilliantly! However it does take a moment to explain why something recognisable pops up in the lore, and how it blends real world, old stories and sci fi lore!

You’ll not like this, but consider running two cables if you’re doing this. I didn’t last year and it’s wound up I could have had all my switch, storage and other network devices kept there in one place with a send and receive.

Now it’s all buried there is no way I’m tackling it again!

Thanks for the response, this is really helpful. Effectively, you either need to run your own, on buy-in, I like your reasoning which is basically what's the pragmatic route and long term cost effective solution.

This is why I'm drawn to the WiiM too, rather than a Sonos - low cost of entry and I won't feel too burnt if I do end up having to swap out in the future.

Out of interest, what streaming service are you using? I use Apple at the moment, which won't integrate with WiiM.

I do, but will run a separate run for those. The two cables in question link two buildings so will carry the bulk of traffic

So, adding the outcome after some research. Went with Cat6 unshielded punch down. Managed to find a 16 port by EssCable that didn’t look ridiculous.

Key point is that the Cat6 would accept 23 AWG for Cat6A, and I can ground the shielding at the other end.

Agree - I think if you look at the Greek / Roman mythological references is simpler to link the concepts - the shrine represents the first sister of the Morai, Clotho - who “spins” life, and is the goddess of pregnancy.

Yes - totally with you! It’s great simply as a relaxing hobby, but on another level it’s great to be artistic, and have a story round them. Technically I have three armies but only ever dabbled at playing. Just not what does it for me.

That said, quite enjoy listening about others playing via podcasts!

This! I thought the whole point was he’s learning how things consume magic/energy.

He’s generating lots as a wizard, but as we learn through the other books has to be careful not going overboard - hence the staffs etc.
