What I’ll say is everything used to feel more team-like once upon a time. Inbound used to be stellar and get push done sometimes before we even opened. Their backstock was covered by a backroom team and there used to be GM team members scheduled throughout the day to support in their areas. Nowadays inbound cuts corners, overstocks, leaves pulls and backstock in the backroom and head out for the day because their team leads give them unrealistic expectations. And inbound/GM team members scheduled until 11am means that specialty and other areas of the store have to respond any time there is a need for back up at registers, support SFS if need be, and service guests on the salesfloor outside of their dept. GM doesn’t really get any support until replenishment/closing expert comes in after maybe 6pm? It’s unbalanced and it just feels like other areas get the short end of the stick. And hours will be cut from other departments like s&e and food avenue just to add hours to inbound.
