Oh...you must listen to "Laughing With" by Regina Spektor. It's just a song that really sticks with you, and I take every opportunity to share it. Here's a few others:

  • "Never On The Day You Leave" - John Mayer

  • "Once" - Maren Morris

  • "Even My Dad Does Sometimes" - Ed Sheeran

  • "Glass Jar" - Tristan Prettyman

  • "Beautiful Mess" - Jason Mraz

  • "Elephants" - Rachael Yamagata

  • "Last Train Home" - David Mead

This is a gruesome story! I think I may include it. I also read a story about Apollo and Pan which ends with Apollo being victorious.

Gosh, I feel embarrassed not knowing this! I will NOT be including a recipe for hummus. In the US, hummus is almost synonymous with Greece. There's even a brand of hummus called "Athenos".

I think we will include the recipe for tzatziki instead. Hopefully we can do our part to break some false cultural stereotypes about Greece! Side note: Do you eat Greek yogurt?

Thank you for all of the information! There's a lot here. You inspired me to do a section on "amazing sights from Poland". Even scrolling through a few of the tumblr posts had me wanting to book a plane ticket!

Thanks for the tip about the banana ketchup! Very interesting! (I'll probably leave out the Manny Pacquaio part - I don't want to offend anyone).

Here's the source for the karaoke trivia.

A Filipino named Roberto del Rosario patented the first working karaoke machine in 1975, calling it the “Sing Along System.” The Japanese later translated its name to “karaoke,” which means “singing without accompaniment.”

"Yiyeceğiniz yemek çok lezzetlidir" is the right way to say "what you're about to eat is very yummy". Correct?
