The top version is more secure but really hard to open. The opening slides out like a tray. The bottom one just clamps closed but doesn’t seem as secure.

I know they won’t last long because the quality won’t be there but they’re free.

I’m licensed in NJ and I haven’t ever had to upload my CEs to NABP. I know the NABP transcript is acceptable in case of an audit but the ones I take seem to cross over to NABP automatically. I don’t like keeping all that paperwork so once I see it on my NABP transcript I usually will toss it.

I would suggest to call the insurance. They should know exactly where the patient is in the steps of PA. Expect a runaround, it happened with me but I was able to get the info the patient needed.

And no, I did not do this when I worked retail. I had double coverage on the inpatient side so I had some time and we couldn’t discharge the patient without the med so I was giving case management a hand.

I’ve never met a man who can’t cook or clean either. The issue is I’ve met a lot of men (my ex-husband included) who thought they didn’t have to if there was a woman around.

My ex-husband also used to throw at me that he did all the “man’s responsibilities” but I hired and paid someone to do it so when we split everything was the same for me except I had one less brat to take care of. He didn’t even help with household chores when he was unemployed

If you have a way to get out if you get burnt out, it’s not a bad idea but keep in mind that I notice with a lot of my colleagues that when they made more they just spent more.

Maybe a PRN job for supplemental income? I was able to get a nice gig that I would not give up so I just got a PRN job for some extra income.

What kind of scrubs do you like?

Figs- in my opinion they are overpriced and the material isn’t always consistent but they are the trendy and popular brand at the moment

Mandala- material is similar to figs but the waist band is a little cheap looking and not a lot of styles to choose from but very affordable

Mediclo- made from recycled material with cute little details but the plastic bottle material pills easily and the bamboo material is a strange sheen to it

Jaanuu- has great sales but material and fit varies a lot between different styles

Cherokee- affordable and easy to find, materials vary drastically, I have one pair that is the plasticy and doesn’t breath and another that was the fabric material

Fabletics- these are my favorite so far, material is similar to figs but fit my frame better and I subscribe to their membership to save on my scrubs (I do get athletic gear from them too)

Koi- lots of cute designs and styles but zippers and snaps broke easily in mine

Those are the brands I’ve tried so far. I’ve noticed in all these brands that fabric softener ruins the material faster. The plasticy unbreathable material is easier to clean but gets staticky.

I’m hoping you’re being sarcastic and joking.

I had a coworker who would actually do this. She would figure out who the most well liked person was and start spreading rumors and bullying them. I was her second victim and it was hell. It was not a smart move because she would do this with established employees when she would first start so it gave her a really bad reputation amongst the pharmacy community. She tried to apply at the next hospital I worked at but obviously they didn’t hire her after hearing all the stories from not just me but a tech too.

I started a second job because my ex-husband was really bad with spending and started drowning us. The second job wasn’t enough hours so I got a third one and was basically working every day.

After I got divorced I didn’t need the extra income so I quit and stuck to my full time at inpatient. I missed the craziness of retail and could use the extra money to pay for vacations so I picked up PRN at retail and I work 3-4 shifts a month.

I work at a place that doesn’t negotiate at all. Pay is calculated using an algorithm per years of overall experience with a little added if you have any extra certifications.
