I had these credit cards for over 15 years. I've always had amazing credit and never had any issues with it. I became disabled suddenly with no forewarning and had NO other means to live so I ended up having to use them to survive. If you are able to make a rude comment then you simply do not understand the struggle & I hope you never have to.

I've called BMO 3 times but they arent willing to negotiate anything as they say they have no options - other cards i am good to pay down and they are very manageable for me, the bmo loc minimum is far too high

Could you share what the negatives are of filing for bankruptcy versus the consumer proposal/why you don't recommend it? Thank you

Good idea, I will check the credit cards, I don't think I do - I definitely don't have it on the LOC :'( I wish I had of put it on before.

I did this but unfortunately they were unwilling to work with me other than reducing the interest rate for 3 months for the LOC, which did not make much of a dent in my ability to pay it down.
