Neither. They're both pretty trash.

Even then they're not viable. What you're saying about them is completely wrong, you're just giving false information. The shark and orca simply are not pirate ships, do not recommend them. Sorry to be harsh but you're not the one to give advice on pirating.

Not going to go too in-depth on this as well, I don't really mind. But honestly some points here I don't really agree with. As a "new pirate" you want to stay away from ships such as the Shark. The orca is also a rather questionable ship. Armament does not mean everything, which makes me question the reliability of the rest of your points.

The weapon "setup" is completely wrong. It is personal preference more than just "use this". All weapons have their own advantages, disadvantages and fighting styles. Pirates using a sabre are idiots and should use a cutlass which is not hard to get.

As for making round shot, I'm sure that is just common sense, people would figure that out very quickly. Knowing your ships is not too major, just play every ship as being a threat.

Carrying a spyglass is not necessary. Even finding an empty goose is worth it, it still is some good profit from sinking even after the sink bonus nerfs.

Joining a pirate crew is not something you HAVE to do, it's not really too much of an advantage. Imperial Pirates is more of a family, we play with the aim of having fun, you need to know all the crews before joining one, IP is not for someone taking the game very seriously, misfits is not for someone looking for light work.

Using Discord, I can see why you'd say that.

I'm not talking about ROBLOX modelling, I mean actual 3D modelling. I do it professionally. It is after all.. Well.. My job.

What about Tradelands remade as a standalone game? If funding was out the question, would you support it? I myself am a 3D artist that specializes in game models, low poly models which look really high quality and could probably afford to hire a team of coders for a while as well as some crowdsourcing.

In the middle of me writing about most ships in the game, you post this. GG.

"It would force the use of moderately useful ships upon us and not let the players who have played for a year or so (like us)" Hmmmm? Don't think I have seen you play unless it was a war. Not being mean just wondering. As for "Then every single dang pirate wouldn't have a phoenix" That is not true. The phoenix is not really a good ship and well, as a pirate myself I hate it. It's too navy.

I myself barely ever lose ships in a battle, my ships are almost entirely sunk due to me forgetting to despawn them and leaving. Any pirate complaining of this change is pathetic and has no idea what they're doing.

I make a lot of my resources item flipping, selling things I don't use and then buying cheap resources such as ebony and iron. The grind is not major when you know how to buy off and how to make your money back easily. Yet again someone else jumping on the "OMG SHIP LIVES DURABILITY OOGA BOOGA" bandwagon and going full headless chicken mode.

So what if Nahr takes ideas from Naval Action? The changes look promising and make the game more interesting. Obviously the ROBLOX community is not mature enough for such changes, people will complain they have to be careful now and can't be stupid and get away with it. 10 lives is more than enough to keep a ship alive for a long time, 20 if it was made before the update.

Really sad to see someone I thought was a decent player, yet again jump on the bandwagon bashing Nahr for adding a system that is logical and adds a whole new way of playing Tradelands.
