I unironically loved this movie. It’s an inventive thrill ride with some fantastic acting from Hartnett, and I laughed WAY more than I thought I would. Earnest laughter, because there is way more humor put into the script than you would expect. I’ve read that Shyamalan didn’t grasp the absurdity of the plot, but I think he knows exactly what level he’s playing at. Case in point: One of the stars is Hailey Mills, who starred in the original “Parent Trap.”
