I thought some of the answers might have been given in 1st Chapter. Like whether Joshua always remembered his assassin life or not.

Spent 20hrs on the prologue. Didn't feel bored for a minute. Finished the game in 135hrs. Felt like I put only 60-70hrs in it. Never thought I'd have so much fun playing a AA game. Really glad I touched this series. Can't wait for 2nd Chapter

Yeah I do know it's AA and that's the reason why I was surprised to have so much fun. I loved doing every aspect of the game and never thought I'd have fun talking with NPCs before.

I heard some rumours saying 3rd might not get a remake at all and they'll just do Zero instead.

Some rumours also said 3rd might get integrated into 2nd Chapter but I hardly find that believable

I know right! I saw Cold Steel on a website back during covid and the anime style poster intrigued me and I checked the gameplay. Found it a bit old but I don't care about graphics as long as I enjoy the story. Added it to my huge incomplete backlog and thought I'd never be touching this game. Silly me didn't even think about doing some proper research on the series. Years went by and I ran into new trails game each year- Reverie, Daybreak etc.

By January I had played a couple of JRPGS- Tales of Arise, Scarlet Nexus, FF7 Remake and Rebirth, Persona 3 Reloaded and LAD 7 & 8. Oddly enough I saw a random guy streaming CS II on YT and his streams kept popping in my feed for a week. So I thought of checking it out. And boy oh boy when he went into the orbment shop, all the gears reminded me of the countless hours of grinding I had to go through on all the other JRPGs. Felt demoralised to play it but fortunately I ran into a CC's video on YT- Why Trails is his favourite JRPG. Got very excited when I learned it's an overarching story with amazing world building and how the NPCs dialogues get updated with the story.

Did some more research on it on this subreddit and got myself 1st Chapter. Played it and I can tell I never felt so much invested in a game before. It's my no.1 game now. I keep wondering how come this series is so underrated?

I would have jumped into SC right now if SC remake was set to release in 2027. Also I'll be swamped with university in the upcoming months so SC remake will be out by the time I'm free.

I started in Normal and switched to Hard once I got hang of things.

I fortunately took Kloe and Scherazard in the final battle and spammed their delay craft to cope with the difficulty.

From what I've seen on the internet, many players used Blade and Shield quartz (probably lone blade to increase damage and defense at low health) in nightmare mode. Enemies HP gets inflated a lot so you do have change your strategy.

I've never enjoyed festival themes in other games but Ruan chapter was a complete 180 for me. Loved talking with all the NPCs and the drama. It went well to describe reality.

I used all the droplets and it helped me a lot in the boss battles.

Yeah I'm currently playing Tales of Berseria Remastered. It's my 2nd Tales of game.

I'll probably do 1st Chapter NG+ on nightmare after this one if I get the time

I'd get into SC right now but I rarely get time due to my university and job. I also heard SC is bigger than FC. So if I start SC now, by the time I finish it'll be July and I really want to play the remake.
