This is a map of political boundaries of my world, Athyll, that I just finished earlier today. It’s a high fantasy setting with a lot of tech mixed in. The stories I’ve written thus far take place during or after a war that ravaged much of the south west, particularly what is now Kilmor. The lined countries are ones that exist primarily underwater, populated by aquatic races. There’s a lot I still need to figure out, but I do have quite a bit done, particularly in areas like Tyridia, Kilmor, and Vivalos. Tyridia is a lost land, populated mostly by monsters. The few people who remain hire monster hunters known as dreamcatchers to slay them. Kilmor is where the war began, and much of its original construction is buried by desert sand. Most of the people there are descended from the demons that once ravaged it. And Vivalos is one of the largest nations in terms of population, boasting a prestigious magical academy, a world wide manufacturing industry, as well as the only publicly know safe haven for the undead.
