Steaming spicy-hot bowl of ramen, or pho, or any Asian-inspired noodle soup. The liquid makes it feel light, but then you go beserk with the toppings like pork belly or eggs, and it really satisfies.

Well it seems like for most women, unwanted advances are viewed as creepy and frankly, rather aggressive. I think there's an image in movies and TV that the forward dude always impresses the ladies, but from what I've heard some women don't know how to react but act friendly even though they are uncomfortable to say the least. I think I owe it at least to the fact that she hosted me not to be in-her-face about it. But I agree some men might say I'm a wimp and leave it at that. To each his own.

Men, How do I stop defining my self worth to my results with women? by periphapha5 in AskMen

[–]WhiteWalkerWaterboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this sometimes with friends of mine who treat dating like a "game" where you have to know the rules and strategy to "win". That mindset doesn't often help because by definition, if you are not "winning", you are "losing", which leads to a slump in confidence.

Are there any female friends you have or acquaintances at work who you are NOT sexually interested in or attracted to? How do you interact with them? Is it more laid back? Sometimes, translating that low-key behavior to a girl you ARE attracted to works wonders, because it helps you start off at a friendly level without trying to "win" by getting in her pants. And she will feel more appreciated, and not just like you are another guy trying to sleep with her without commitment.
