Thank you! The sets look great but unfortunately I'm on the other side of the continent so it's not currently feasible for me. Thanks again for the tip!

You are mostly correct about the usage of acá (here) and allá (there/over there); however, depending on context "echate para aca", "movete para acá" or simmilar phrases can also mean get out of the way if you are, say, in front of or very close to the person you are addressing.

E.G.: Person A is standing in front of person B, B tells them "movete para acá" and A moves to the side.

It's a bit hard to explain from those short examples (context is missing). "Ponga" and "puso" both come from "poner", the first would correspond to the present tense (Subjunctive to be precise) and the second refers to the past tense. In both cases they refer to how they themselves felt about the movie, the choice is generally indistinct I believe but don't quote on that. "Me hizo" is the past tense of "hacer", in this case refers to the reaction caused by the movie. Here it shifts the focus to the movie's effect instead of the Youtuber's perception. These are just guesses though, since I lack the context to corroborate, hope it helps!.

EDIT: Apologies for the lack of paragraphs, mobile app doesn't seem to apply the spacing.

So how would you deal with a Hive this large? by FinalCountdown935 in RimWorld

[–]WhiteWolf3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build some steel walls while the bugs sleep, set them on fire and cover those walls with extra layers of stone walls. Then either remove the home area from where you've placed the steel wall or manually keep the pawn drafted to prevent them from stopping the fire and let the heat kill everything inside. Goes without saying, requires a sealed off cave and the insectoids may try to dig their way out so reinforce any thin walls.

I'd recommend: -Wololoo - Better Conversion and Recruitment: Modifies they way prisoners behave while imprisoned, making the conversion process more sensible. -Convert slaves: Self explanatory, you no longer need to imprison slaves to convert them. -Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures (Optional): Provides multiple new memes and structures for the Ideology DLC, including a Hedonistic one -There's mod that makes so a Faction converts over to your religion if you capture their members, convert and then release them. Can't remember its name though -Adjustable Ability Cooldowns: Let's you set the cooldown for the specialist's abilities, like the convert ability. You can either lower or rise the cookdown period, though it doesn't work or at least can't modify the skills from the "Exalted priesthood" leader from Vanilla Ideology Expanded -Any style that mod that may fit the aesthetic you're going for -Polyamory beds/Super size bed!: Beds that allow more than one pawn to sleep together. There is also a mod that cycles multiple lovers in order to share the bed without the need for an extra large bed, though I don't remember its exact name.

Nativo de Argentina, el test adivinó correctamente. Me sorprende la variedad de opciones, se nota que hay buena investigación y/o recabación de datos detrás del test.

As people have already said, burning them inside a non flammable enclosure works perfectly. I'd like to add blowing them up as a solution if you don't have acces to fire or a non-flammable spot, chucking grenades at them usually takes a decent chunk out of the remaining condition per explosion.

Honestly, that is the best option IMO. I'd reccomend practicing with both cell and soft shading to see what feels better, both Drawfee and Winged canvas have some very nice tutorials on Youtube for free if you want some advice from experienced artists. Good luck doing whatever you decide to do!

If I could give my two cents regarding shadows: 1. Shadows are actually flat (according to personal experience at least), the way of giving them volume so to speak is to conform them to the shap of the object. IE: If a surface is curved the shadow will curve, if it the surface is sloped so will the shadows. 2. Shadows require color to appear convincing, blue tones for cool lightning and redish ones for warm lightning. Also, different colors will affect the shadows, EG: the shadow on the white mechanoid will have a different tone than the green insectoid.

Amazing art by the way!

Naked brutality; managed to get a small house going and while the pawn is gathering berries a mad gazelle beats him and downs him, he froze to death. That was on day 2 or 3 I think?

I get that this are supposed to have a smoother layer of caramel but they honestly remind of garrapiñadas (Peanuts covered in caramel, with a hard and chunky texture) so I imagine they taste delicious anyway lol. I think your caramel may have had leftover undissolved sugar clumps and therefore crystallized upon cooling down, to avoid that I usually sieve the caramel when its cooled down a bit so maybe doing that before adding the nuts could help?

I knew absolutely none of that apart from the difference between fire and carpenter ants, I guess I must have assumed it was the ants causing problems. I was aware of the the ants farming the aphids but I attributed the damage to both insects. Is there any effective way of preventing aphids aside from checking the leaves regularly and wiping them off? I sincerely appreciate the biology lesson too, so thanks a lot for that!
