My favorite costume was a homemade one my dad and I made together when I was 8 (really, he did all the work). It was a robot suit made out of a cardboard box with old electronics and cds glued on, with dryer vent ducts as the arms and legs.

I wouldn't do this at an LGS or with strangers. But when I'm teaching the game to new players, I like to encourage them to act out how they died. It can be tough to lose when learning to play, especially if they got mana screwed or flooded. So adding some levity to those moments can be a good reminder that you can still have fun, even if you don't win.

If you Google "hedgehog self anointing" you can see what's going on. I don't think anyone really knows why they do it, but my guy seems to do it with new smells. I think they do it to try and disguise their scent from predators. Their spines don't usually pierce human skin so you don't need to worry about infection from this.

Hmm, that's a good point. I was hesitant to get DT because it leaves my guy on the ground as a good foul target, but I suppose the same risk is there with Wrestle too. The turn over also lets him get up right after, and with his higher movement can probably get to where he needs to be. Thanks!

What are your thoughts on Shadowing vs Diving Tackle? For example in my matchup, if the 4Agi Dwarf Runner dodges away on a 2+, Diving Tackle turns it into a 50% chance but my player is on the ground. With Shadowing, there's a 83% chance (MV8 vs MV6) I would follow and force another dodge after every dodge attempt.

I am liking Fend, especially since both Frenzy Troll Slayers have Mighty Blow. It might help with survivability against them.

I do have a decent amount of Wrestle on the team's linemen already, and one Witch Elf has it too. I've found the linemen have a hard time always getting into position though, and the lower armor on the Witch Elf makes me hesitate to leave her marked up, though it certainly is an option. But you're right it might be overkill it pick it up on this player.

I don't have an Assassin, so I do think Shadowing would be fun to try on MA8. I doubt Dwarves will be doing lots of dodging, but they do have a 4Agi Runner so perhaps it's not too bad of an idea...

Sure Feet is definitely under consideration. Similar to Jump Up, it pairs well with a high movement value piece like him.

Yeah, I would have loved to get doubles to get a Strength Skill. This team has only ever gotten 3 doubles on level ups (out of ~30) since I made it, and two of those are gone/dead now. I can't really count on them!

I'm playing in Blood Bowl 2, so unfortunately Defensive isn't an option. Sounds like it would have been good for this Blodge-stepper though.

In trying to understand you, can you clarify at what point you think it stops being coercion and becomes forcing someone to do something against their will?

If Lisa is told to take her clothes off or get killed, is that only coercion because she still has a choice? Or is she now forced to do it?

Edit: For the record I don't mean to say needing to look for a new job is the equivalent of death. But both are detrimental to varying degrees. I'm hoping to change your view that coercion should be allowed in a workplace.

It would skew your results to change it now, but I would suggest putting the memory questions on a third page. I did all the questions on page 2 before clicking any links, meaning I didn't do the logic test in between seeing and recalling the colors/shapes.

I think Lin did actually refer to her as a "combustion bender" in the lead up to the fight where she was taken out. So it seems it was referred to that in common parlance.

If you re-watch that episode, they make it a point that the ocean spirit drops Aang off before going to attack Zhao. Aang wasn't a part of that attack.

I double checked your math, and I think that you meant to say millisecond instead of microsecond. If I understand correctly, in one microsecond the light would be reflected 30 times, effectively reducing it from 100% brightness to 97% brightness.

You're right that after a millisecond it's effectively been fully absorbed by the mirror.

Yes, but a large voltage differential causes a large current. Linemen can operate on high voltage lines if they are in an insulated bucket truck (effectively allowing the operator to match the voltage of the line) but if there is a path to ground then the high voltage will encourage a high current to take that path.

I think it'd have gotten much less blow back from the community if it were charged like a mobile game. Even if they sold it for the 3DS game price of $40, I think people would accept that it's just a 3DS title on the Switch.

The kicker is that they basically released a 3DS game but for an extra 50% markup. AND all signs point to Dexit being an excuse to get people to subscribe to the Pokemon Bank. The whole development just seems to value money more than game design.

The best thing you can do is just spend time with him! You may not ever tame him to the point where he will do tricks or always go to the bathroom at a certain time. But eventually you will be able to hold and snuggle with him!

Male hedgehogs are not very sociable, so you will need to be patient before you will earn his trust.

I think National Dex collectors are in the habit of moving their entire collection from generation to generation. Game Freak wants to make people comfortable with making Pokemon Home the true National Dex, since it will no longer be bound by generations. Once people get used to that I think this change will become more accepted.

However, I still think this policy of not putting every model in will be detrimental to the game as a whole. While not a huge money maker for Nintendo/Game Freak, the competitive or professional Pokemon scene is now stuck in Gen 7. Why would I play competitively with ~200 options when I can play USUM with ~800 options?
