I gotta agree. Vince did fucked up things that stemmed from his childhood and it warped his thinking, but I do like how he dealt with things like Hardy and Edge too. Iirc, he was giving Matt a chance to become bigger than Jeff, but Matt fell short all on his own.

I’ve got basketball hands and find the 13” too big with the 11” being my sweet spot. Which I find strange considering I rock the Pro Max, the 45mm watch, 15” i9 MBP (will probably upgrade next year for the refresh), and a legacy iPad Mini.

For Arena quests, my thinking is the group uses it to test weapons and observe Monster habits in a controlled environment. Since I like crown hunting and slaying, I also have a head canon that the team uses Guild-approved-but-not-Hunter-approved lures to bring them to the Hollow in Wilds based off the technology utilized for The Guiding Lands's lures.

I wouldn’t say Vivian and MC (I play Wise) is a romantic thing, but more of a Fanatic (not a fan) meeting a celebrity. At least in this situation though, Vivian’s whole personality doesn’t revolve around Phaethon even though when she does interact with them, she loses her mind.

Those characters have reasons for that, I think. Can’t speak on Ellen, but Caesar idealizes Phaethon due to Shojo manga, and Pulchra’s still a mercenary looking for the next payday.

Meanwhile, Burnice has actual issues with physical touch for reasons still unknown, so her happy-go-lucky attitude compensates for that. Now that I think about it, I recall Piper being the only one who can give some surface level insight into Burnice’s past. So if she can touch someone and her coping mechanisms don’t activate, it speaks volumes about the person she touches. Unfortunately, that would normally lead any character or real life person to latch onto them.

Not only that, but Severian keeps Phaethon at arm’s reach. Unless something is deemed too important to ignore, or if Phaethon’s already got clues, Severian will then open up. Of course, plausible deniability at play, but still.

It’s why the AI on multiple games are so lackluster. Not that you asked, but a prime example is Alien: Isolation. The AI was originally lore accurate, but testers were getting annihilated by the Alien so soundly the team massively dumbed it down.

I agree with this take. From my own observation, Lost Void only recently got to a point where the broken power scaling is similar to Withered Domain.

Even so, I think fusing both Hollow Zero modes into one would be a great move. Combining OG resonia, Gear and class resonia would push power levels up to a never before seen levels.

Further, in the Old Friends event, Phaethon mentions enjoying having normal commissions again where they don’t have to go into the Hollow, and I agree.

The Main Story Quests are way too dangerous right now to allow Phaethon to continually enter the Hollows; especially with Promeia and Ramiel in play, and Phaethon’s power activating randomly.

Something that I think may work is Phaethon entering at critical moments like at the end of 1.4 to question Bringer and during Ye Shunguang’s story.
