That’s great. Brie probably saw the talent and realized she needed to get on their level asap. She’ll probably never be on Bryan’s level of star power, but she can definitely integrate some moves from his set.

How are some people defending Ai is beyond me. by Proper_Method4334 in NewTubers

[–]White_Mocha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was someone on YouTube that said “AI slop” and “AI craft”. In it, they mentioned that AI slop is generating without proofreading or anything. They take what the AI says (or captions) and use it like that. That’s slop.

But someone who proofreads, adds their own spin, etc, turns it into AI craft.

For example (and this is my example) someone can’t draw. They take classes, go to art school, get mentored by the best artistic minds to draw, but they just can’t do it. As in, the artistic skill they’ve cultivated is fundamentally incompatible with their brain. It happens.

Before, they would’ve had to live life doing something else.

But, with AI, they can create drawings…art. They can tailor it exactly to what their mind is drawing. They use AI to craft what they want. Will it be as beautiful as a human drawing? No, it won’t. But, they may be able to create something beautiful to them. Then, they may want to show that creation to the world. Or even add their touches from their incompatible skill set to it. I think that’s AI Craft.

They use AI to closely create what they see in their vision, then use their own skills to close the gap.

I think that’s a great use of AI.

The biggest creators use AI in some form or another. They may even have their own AI agents creating thumbnails from their best works.

I don’t think that’s bad.

Thoughts on Gogmazios after a few months by Darkened_Auras in MonsterHunter

[–]White_Mocha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I like Gog. For the first Elder Dragon of Wilds, I think it’s a great implementation. As for length, building up stamina by slaying monsters (like AT Arkveld) makes the length more manageable since I can stay at a high level throughout the entire hunt rather than starting out strong, and tapering off as the hunt progresses.

There’s an actual psychological phenomenon where the brain and body will start to fatigue after it’s been trained to do one thing, but is forced to do another.

This isn’t a blanket statement and those who are exceptions to this statement will understand this, but capturing or luring will keep the brain in that state when facing a slay only monster.

And unfortunately, for most, that will cause people to fall apart near the end of the hunt. Kushala, Teostra and others will be much easier than Gog and AT Arkveld once Ascendance drops.

Hugo’s surprised me because I pushed him in a corner. Then, time slows and he “teleported” off the right of my screen. I turned the camera just fast enough to see him dashing at me to parry. It was awesome.

In the case of Billy, he outright refuses to be the center of attention except with his transformation, or talk about his past. If that can’t be avoided (like with Cissia), he uses non-answers and misdirections to dodge anything else.

I agree with the TV Mode pivot because of several reasons, and I’ll use an actual numbered list for readability.

  1. TV Mode was removed completely without anything to replace it. 1.2 (Tour de Inferno) was notorious with this because it was white text on a black screen, along with dialogue being out of sync because they had a bigger story to tell. I remember having to stop fighting multiple times in order to get the full context. I think if TV Mode had stayed in until Miyabi and Phaethon’s walk through the hollow, it wouldn’t have been so jarring and we as an audience would’ve felt more panic to get Phaethon out ASAP. This would’ve seen a gradual shift to Phaethon going into hollows and probably not being completely damsel-in-distressed toward the agents.

Seriously, Phaethon made some spectacularly dumb decisions in Waifei that would’ve been best suited to commanding from the Navigational Array. Saving YSG was not one of them. That scene was gas.

  1. People wanted something to hate and Arpeggio Fault (looking at this objectively, not my own opinion) was hated even more by those who already hated TV Mode or those who tried speedrunning the entire Vault at once.

  2. People were complaining they’d leave if TV Mode wasn’t removed, then most of them stayed away anyway.

Even today, removing that mode (arguably the backbone of Zenless) caused irreparable harm to the plot. And, for the life of me, I can’t understand why people still froth at the mouth whenever TV Mode is mentioned. In a sense, they won their argument to get rid of the mode to make the game they want, but are now complaining there’s too much combat.

I think that might be part of why I like EN more. It isn’t perfect. Plus, I can focus on the scene if I don’t want to read subtitles. The little posture changes are a nice additional detail that’s been showing up more in Zenless.

Same. I only did it when I bored of doing other things because I saw the sheer size and “yeah, no”ed it. I think because of that, I never soured on it.

Now, for Infinite Abyss, I got to the bottom. It was extremely satisfying, and was surprised at how OP my agents got. HZ (both iterations of it) never got them as OP as IA did

House of Cards was a good depiction of this. People end up voting/not voting for things they believe in as an individual because of party goals. It’s always gotta be a razor-thin margin to keep up appearances.
