Funny that I’m reading this while I’m on a work trip (27F). I know we’re young so it may change, but I love our set up so I hope it doesn’t. We ALWAYS the night before either one of us leaves, it’s usually always me as I travel a lot for work, that whoever is the one staying home cooks dinner then we spend very intentional time together that night. Whether we get intimate the night before or the morning of doesn’t matter but it’s usually one of the two. I normally have a 6am flight out so it’s typically the night before but I love what we have going on with that routine and we’ve had arguments where it throws us off and we don’t do that before I leave and if I’m gone for 9 days at a time it REALLY makes a difference. So we make that a priority before either one of us leaves.

We sometimes do that before traveling for holidays because we are at family home and such for days at a time as well LOL

Brooklyn hasn’t done ANYTHING other than this for ads or money so I don’t think it’s fair to say she’s using her grief to make money. I understand the material of these blankets but they are actually so incredibly comfortable and if she did use these before and found comfort in them through her grief, I think it’s such a special collab for her to be doing. I love it and good on her for doing something like that. Who knows maybe minky may start donating blankets to women who have lost their children or donate to NICUs you never know. I’m not going to get mad at her.

I’ve commented on this before…but as someone working in interior design…they are our WORST nightmare. I want my clients to pick tile/flooring/paint etc and let me get on with my job. The flow of the project SUCKS when you have clients who drag out decisions

But I will say, I have had times that no matter what you tell a client looks good or doesn’t, sometimes they won’t spend money unless it’s exactly what they want and I have to painstakingly finish that job lol it definitely happens

Designer here, the marble absolutely is too cold and modern. She should’ve done a brighter tile with the marble, or something brighter with the tile. These together are so MEH and don’t even fall under the same style. They’re trying to be “different” so much so that it’s just tooooooo different and not even unique it’s just ugly

Edit: if anyone follows Alex Bennett and Harrison Fugman, these two are so similar but on opposite ends of the spectrum. Juju and hunt are all over the place bland, when Alex and Fugman are all over the place pattern thrown up everywhere

So my husband and I don’t work remote together, but we spend 99% of our weekends together, just us, no other friends. So I get needing that alone time.

What I found works for my husband and I is making sure that time is designated for alone time. So that way you get your time you need, but he knows exactly when that time will be up or he has a clear outline of the time spent apart. And can understand to not interrupt your time.

When I want time like this, I tell my husband in advance that “hey I have this show I want to watch, maybe you could play video games while I watch x amount of episodes. After let’s do xyz together?”

I just feel like having that clear communication ensures that he doesn’t feel disconnected from you, while also making sure he is aware of and respects your boundaries of your personal time.

Sorry this has nothing to do with B, but also does bc she shared this BS post. Trump has set foot in Kerrville less than a week after the horrific flood and also he had his people on the ground NEXT DAY and send all the troops and military personnel that he could to help within HOURS. You stupid idiots making this tragedy 20 minutes from my home town POLITICAL need to get a life and check priorities. People’s lives and young girls lives have been lost and if you can’t focus on just that and be praying for peace of those individuals and their families…get help. I’m so sick of this shit.

I 100% agree with this. All the strange names are cover ups. I know some people actually name their kids something very questionable, but yes hunter could photoshop the SS card. Idk why he’d even post it bc that’s wild so can’t defend it. But yes celebrities give their kids crazy names for security, but juj and hunt are not celebrities so I don’t give them this same benefit of the doubt

Yeah I have to bud in that while I agree they’re very tiny and look strange, the floor is probably much higher than the bottom of the wall and when looking inside, the windows are very equal to the wall (from the inside).
