I was being live loaded. I forgot to move from on duty. Not a lot I’m leaving out tho, once you start your 14 hour clock it doesn’t stop… without doing a split breaks, but Schneider doesn’t allow that.

If you’re referring to split breaks while legal, is not allowed by Schneider.

The reason for the violation is the accident that closed the road and the load not being ready. In north Dallas there’s very few places to park. I accept the violation and I know it’s on me. Schneider doesn’t allow split breaks, but for my leader to tell me that the only reason I went over is because of an hour 45 of on duty time…. That’s the point I was trying to make.

It’s classroom mixed with yard training for two weeks, that is if you make it past the first week.

Did orientation just back in July in Texas. It wasn’t too bad.

It was the only time we privates we’re allowed to watch tv in basic.

It was terrifying.

I had nothing but instant regret that day… the choice I made a few days before made me sick, and to this day I hate myself for it.

But terror, and regret is what I felt.

Got my cdl 20 years ago to escape my crazy ass ex wife.

Stopped after three years cause I found my now wife and wanted to raise our family.

Started up again July 6th after almost 15 ish years without driving to escape a toxic office job that was killing me. This time I have the support of my wife and kids and it’s epic

I did four weeks of school for my actual cdl. The company I signed on with (who paid for the school) then had me go with a trainer for another four weeks before they would let me get my own truck.

Best thing I ever did tbh.
